In the sidebar, open **Settings**, then choose **Pick Lists** under **Records & Fields**. The page address is `/settings/org/entity-values`.

Many fields in Nova are pick lists: the source of a lead, and other choices across accounts, scheduling and settings. This page holds every list, grouped by the record it belongs to, so you can add your own choices.

## Before you start

- Your role needs the pick-list permission to see the page, permission to create values to add one, and permission to update values to edit, reorder, enable or disable one.
- Some lists are fixed by Nova. They show **Available options** instead of **Active values**, and you can only set policies on them, not add choices.

## Steps

1. Open the group for the record type, then the field, for example the lead source field under the account group. The preview shows how many values are active and disabled.
2. Press **Add value**. A form opens.
3. Type the **Value** and, optionally, a **Description**.
4. Tick **Set as default** if this should be the preselected choice. For a lead source, tick **Requires referral details** if choosing it should ask who referred the customer.
5. Press **Add value**. The value appears under **Active values**.

To change a value, open its card, edit **Value**, **Description** or **Requires referral details**, and press **Save**. **Cancel** puts the fields back.

To reorder, drag a card within **Active values**; the list reads **Drag to reorder**.

To make a value the default, press **Set default** on its card. To retire one, press **Disable** and confirm in the **Disable value?** dialog; it moves to **Disabled values**, where **Enable** brings it back after you confirm **Enable value?**.

## What you see

- A card's preview shows **Default**, **Disabled** or **Referral-enabled** as they apply.
- Every value, including the options on a list Nova fixes, carries a **Policies** button when your role can update values. It opens a drawer with a **Selection policy** (who can pick the option) and a **Management policy** (who can rename or disable it). Choose **Inherit** to follow normal permissions or **Custom** to list allowed and denied roles, people and permissions, then press **Save policies**.
- Disabling hides the value from pickers; records that already use it keep it.

## If something looks different

- **Add value** is missing on a field: your role cannot create values, or the field is one Nova manages, in which case the card says its options are defined centrally.
- **Set default** is disabled: the value is already the default, or it is disabled. Enable it first.
- A value's fields are greyed out and **Policies** is missing: your role cannot update values.
