In the sidebar, open **Administration**, then choose **Contact Points** under **Company**. The page address is `/settings/org/contact-points`.

## Before you start

- Anyone whose role can read contact points can open this page. Adding, changing and removing them are separate permissions; ask your admin if a button is missing.
- Changes save automatically. There is no page-level save button, and a new row is created as soon as its required fields are filled in.

## Steps

To add an address:

1. Under **Addresses**, press **Add address**. A **New address** card opens.
2. Type the address in **Search address** and pick the match, or press **Edit manually** to fill in **Address details** yourself. Nova needs at least the first line, the city and the country; as soon as it has them, the card saves itself and joins the list.
3. Open the saved card, choose a **Role** for the address (for example billing or mailing) and turn on **Primary for role** if this is the main address for that role.
4. Under the address, check the map pin. Picking a search result places it for you; press **Move pin** (or **Set pin on map**) to place it in the **Set address pin** window, or **Type coordinates instead** to enter a latitude and longitude. Open **Advanced** for the optional fields: **Timezone**, **Notes**, and **Archived**.

To add an email:

1. Under **Emails**, press **Add email**.
2. Type the **Email address**. As soon as it is a valid address, the card saves itself and joins the list.
3. Open the saved card, add a **Label** people will recognise and pick a **Purpose** (billing, support and so on). The purpose decides which kind of message replies to this inbox.
4. Turn on **Primary** if it is the main inbox for that purpose.

To add a phone number:

1. Under **Phones**, press **Add phone**.
2. Type the **Phone number** with its area code. As soon as it is a valid number, the card saves itself; open it to add a **Label** and pick a **Purpose**.

## What you see

- **Where customer replies go** links to **Customer messages**, where each category chooses its sender and approved reply address. Text replies return to the sending number.
- Each saved contact point is a card you can open to edit. **Remove** on a card asks **Remove contact point?** first; the item is archived, not deleted.
- **Phones** also offers **Purchase number** and **Transfer number**, which open the phone number settings in a new window, and a link to **Manage phone line integrations**. Numbers that Nova manages for texting and calling are hidden here on purpose.

## If something looks different

- **Add address** is greyed out with a message about a draft: finish or **Discard** the card you already started before adding another.
- A new email or phone will not save: the address has to be a valid email, and the phone number has to be a full number with its area code.
- A category can use the sending inbox for replies or choose another approved reply address. Change that choice in **Customer messages**. Contact-point purposes supply defaults when no reply address is chosen.
