Open the **Operations Map** (`/schedule/map`), then choose **List** for advanced bulk operations. For everyday calendar and list work, open **Schedule**.

## Before you start

- **Bulk assign** needs permission to assign the schedule and to read resources. **Bulk reschedule** needs permission to edit the schedule. Without either, the **Bulk actions** box is hidden.
- Bulk reschedule works on tasks, milestones, blocks and time off. Work orders and bookings are moved one at a time; see [[reschedule-a-work-order]].

## Steps

1. Set the **Range** and filters so the entries you want are on screen. See [[review-the-operations-list]].
2. Tick the box at the start of each row, or tick the box in the header to select every row shown. The **Bulk actions** box counts the selected entries.
3. To hand them to one person or piece of equipment: under **Bulk assign**, pick a **Select resource** entry, then press **Assign selected**.
4. To move them: under **Bulk reschedule**, pick the new start date and time, then press **Reschedule selected**. Each entry keeps its own length.
5. If any entry would overlap something else for that resource, Nova asks **Override conflicts?** and lists the **Top conflicts**. Press **Override** to go ahead, or cancel and change your selection.

## What you see

Nova shows **Assignments updated.** after a bulk assign and updates the **Assignment** column. After a bulk reschedule the **Start** and **End** columns change and the rows move to their new place in the range. A **Conflict** chip appears on any entry that now overlaps another one.

## If something looks different

- **Assign selected** is greyed out: nothing is selected, or no resource is picked in **Select resource**.
- **Reschedule selected** is greyed out and the box says to select a new start date and time: fill in both fields.
- An amber line says bulk reschedule is not supported for work orders or bookings: untick those rows and move them from the **Schedule** instead.
- Nova says conflicts were detected and you do not have permission to override: ask someone with the override permission, or pick a time and resource with no overlap.
