In the sidebar, open **Operations**, then **Workforce Status**. The page address is `/workforce`.

## Before you start

Your admin has to give your role permission to read resources. Workforce tracking also has to be turned on for the organization; if it is not, the page still loads but says tracking is policy-limited.

## Steps

1. Read the **Workforce status** strip at the top. A **Healthy** chip means nobody is stale, offline or uncovered and no tracking source is failing.
2. Press a chip such as **Stale**, **Offline**, **Failed ingest** or **Coverage gaps** to filter the whole page to that problem. The **Active filter** box names what you picked; press **Clear filter** to see everyone again.
3. Work down **Technician attention**. Each card names the technician, their current or next work order, a status chip (**Trackable**, **Governed**, **Policy limited**, **Coverage gap** or **Needs attention**), the reason, the source and device, and when they were last seen.
4. Check **Active sessions** for the last-known connection of each technician's device.
5. Check **Source and ingest issues** for a tracking source that is failing or degraded, with its number of failed events and its last error.
6. To change the tracking rules, press **Workforce settings**. Press **Asset reports** for the equipment reports.

## What you see

Five counters: **Active sessions**, **Stale**, **Offline**, **Failed ingest** and **Coverage gaps**. A coverage gap is someone scheduled to work whose tracking is not healthy. When live location is switched off by policy, a blue notice says coordinates are redacted; use the status chips, session health and work context instead.

## If something looks different

- **View workforce status** does the same as **Clear filter**: it shows the full panel without a chip filter.
- The strip says workforce tracking is temporarily unavailable: the tracking service is not answering. The calendar still works; check again in a few minutes.
- **Workforce settings** or **Asset reports** is missing: your role does not have the permission for that page.
- Every count is zero and the strip reads **Healthy**: nobody is on a tracked session right now, which is normal outside working hours.
