In the sidebar, open **Settings**, then choose **Crews** under **Scheduling**. The page address is `/settings/org/schedule-crews`. The page heading reads **Schedule crews**.

## Before you start

- Every member has to exist as a schedule resource first. See [[add-a-schedule-resource]]. If none exist, the drawer says "No resources available." with a link to add them.
- Crews belong to the branch selected in the top bar.
- Your role needs permission to create crews. Otherwise **Add crew** is missing.

## Steps

1. Press **Add crew**. A drawer opens.
2. Type a **Name**, such as "Install crew A".
3. Leave **Status** on **Active**, or choose **Inactive** to set the crew up before it takes work.
4. Set the **Timezone** only if the crew works in a different zone from the organization.
5. Add **Notes** if the crew needs explaining, for example which truck it takes.
6. Under **Members**, switch on each resource that belongs to the crew. Nova will not create a crew with no members.
7. Under **Working hours**, leave inherited days alone and only change the days when this crew differs from the branch.
8. Press **Create crew**.

## What you see

- The list shows **Name**, **Status**, **Members**, **Timezone** and **Updated**. Search with **Search crews**; **Filters** narrows by status and by **With members** or **Without members**.
- Each row has **Edit** and **Archive**. Archived rows show **Restore** instead.
- The edit drawer adds a **Crew photo** so the crew is easy to spot on the calendar; leave it empty to use the crew's initials.
- **Save changes** stays disabled until something changes.

## If something looks different

- The list reads **No crews created yet.**: nothing has been added for this branch.
- Depending on your organization's reason rules, archiving may first ask you to confirm and give a reason. Membership and scheduling history stays, and the crew comes back as inactive if you restore it.
- An archived or inactive crew has gone from the list: **Filters** starts on **Active only**.
- Your offering says crews are required but none exist: create one here, then see [[create-an-offering]].
