Open **Schedule** (`/schedule`). Work orders, appointments, tasks, projects, activities, lodging and rentals share this page.

## Find the work

Choose a date and a calendar view, or switch to **List**. On a phone, open **More calendar actions** to switch between Calendar and List or choose a saved view. Use **Filters** to narrow the results by type, customer, status, branch or assignee. Open an item to see its details.

In the date picker, a dot under a day means the calendar has something on that day with your current filters. Change a filter and the dots change with it, so a day with only filtered-out work has no dot.

Use **Saved views** for a recurring way of working. Your organization starts with views for its enabled types, such as **Rentals** and **Appointments**, plus useful work views. Save your own filters when you need another combination. A bookmark is a shortcut to a page or saved view; it does not make another calendar.

You can use a shared view even when you cannot edit it. Personal adjustments keep its other filters and save to your own view, leaving the shared view available to the team.

## Open one category

The **Operations** sidebar also has **Appointments**, **Activities**, **Lodging** and **Rentals** when enabled and allowed by your role and plan, alongside **Work orders**. These open record lists, not separate calendars. Simple navigation includes these everyday pages. Choosing Everything never overrides permissions or organization settings.

Use Appointments for upcoming appointments and completed history. Activities separates sessions from customer bookings and today’s attendance. Lodging has arrivals, in-house guests and departures. Rentals has pickups, items out, returns and overdue items. Each list has search, date filters, saved views and access to the same Schedule.

Searches and filters in these record lists are temporary until you save them. Open **Saved views**, then use **Save filters** to update the selected view or **New view** to save a separate copy. Updating a shared view changes it for everyone in your organization.

A saved view keeps a useful set of list filters; a bookmark opens that page or view quickly. Changing filters does not overwrite a shared view.

## Add something

Press **New** and choose the type. Nova only offers types enabled in **Settings** → **Schedule** → **What do you schedule?** and allowed by your role and plan. With one type enabled, the New action goes straight to that form. In a view for one type, New opens that type's form on computers and phones. Starting from a day fills in that date.

The form opens in a drawer. Choose the customer, service or item, and the date or time. Extra fields depend on what you are booking. Open **Needs attention** to put an existing work order, task or project on the calendar.

## Unfinished planning

Open **Needs attention** to find work that needs a date, a time or an assignee. Lodging and rentals do not need a staff assignment simply to hold a room or item. Public work-order requests keep their work-order identity while waiting for review or payment.

Turning a type off removes it from new-item choices and message setup. Existing records remain available and retain their booked capacity and messages. A filter changes what you see; it never makes a booked resource available.
