In the sidebar, open **Enterprise Hub**, then **Workspace**, then **Organizations**. The page address is `/enterprise/organizations`. You can also press **Manage organizations** on the **Hub Dashboard**. The page is titled **Enterprise Organizations**.

A linked organization belongs to the hub. It counts on the **Hub Dashboard**, and when it sends an email or text it uses the hub's active message template for any message it has not written its own version of ([[share-a-message-template-across-your-hub]]). Linking does not put anyone on the organization's team: people still need their own place in each organization to see its customers and work.

## Before you start

- In most hubs Nova links organizations for you. You can link or unlink one here only when Nova has handed that control to your hub; otherwise Nova answers that organization management for this hub is controlled in the Platform Console. Ask Nova support instead.
- Your hub role needs permission to link organizations (and to unlink them, for the **Unlink** button).
- You can only pick an organization you belong to yourself.
- The organization's currency must match the hub's **Currency**, and the hub's status must be active.
- An organization can belong to one hub only.

## Steps

To link an organization:

1. Under **Link organization**, open **Select organization** and pick the organization.
2. In the list beside it, pick how it relates to the hub: managed_service (the default), subsidiary, franchise or partner. This is a label for your own records; it does not change what the hub can do.
3. Press **Link organization**. Nova says **Organization linked to hub.** and the organization appears in the list as active.

To unlink an organization:

1. Find it in the list. Type in **Search** or pick a **Status** to narrow the list.
2. Press **Unlink** on its row. Nova unlinks it straight away, without asking you to confirm, and says **Organization unlinked.**

## What you see

- Each row shows the **Organization**, its **Relationship** and its **Status**: active while linked, inactive once unlinked.
- An unlinked organization stays in the list as inactive. It goes back to using Nova's own message templates for anything the hub used to supply.
- The **Hub Dashboard** count of **Linked organizations** refreshes every few minutes.

## If something looks different

- Nova says the organization is already linked to a different enterprise hub: unlink it there first, or ask Nova support.
- Nova says the organization's currency must match the hub's: the two use different currencies. You cannot link it until they match.
- A yellow note says **Organization management is currently disabled by entitlement.** and the buttons are greyed out: your plan does not include managing organizations from the hub.
- The organization you want to link again is missing from **Select organization**: the list leaves out any organization shown in the table, including unlinked (inactive) ones. Set **Status** to active so the old row is hidden, then pick it and press **Link organization**.
- Nova says an approval request is required: your hub asks for a second person to approve this change, which this page cannot do yet. Ask Nova support.
