In the sidebar, open **Settings**, then choose **Form Publishing** under **Website & Forms**. The page address is `/settings/org/intake`. The page title reads **Intake Settings**.

Building the questions happens under **Intake**, then **Forms**. This page is where a form gets a public address. Nova calls that a publication: one form version, one place customers reach it, with its own branding and on/off switch. The same form can have several publications, for example one on your website and one for a campaign.

## Before you start

- The form needs a published version first. See [[publish-an-intake-form]].
- Your role needs permission to read intake publications to see the page, and permission to manage them to create or change one. A banner tells you when you are read-only.
- The **Publication Limit** card at the top shows how many publications your plan allows and how many you have used.

## Steps

1. Scroll to **Publications** and press **New**. The **New publication** form opens on the **Details** tab.
2. Type a **Publication title** and a **Publication key**, a short name for this publication that has to be unique in your organization.
3. Pick the **Form** and the **Published version** customers should fill in.
4. Set **Surface kind** to **Hosted page** for a page Nova hosts, or **Embedded surface** to place the form inside your website.
5. Leave **Launch state** as **Draft** while you finish, or set it to **Published** to go live right away. Use **Active from** and **Active until** if the form should only run for a period.
6. Press **Create publication**. The publication appears in the list. Finish it on the other tabs: **Branding**, **Delivery**, **Security**, **Tracking**, **Governance** and **Diagnostics**.
7. On **Branding**, set the **Hero title**, **Hero subtitle** and **Success message** customers see, and colors if this form should differ from your shared branding.
8. On **Delivery**, if you are embedding the form, set **Origin policy** to **Allow list** and type your website's address under **Allowed origins**. Choose a **Success behavior**: **Inline**, **Message** or **Redirect** to a **Redirect URL**.
9. Press **Save publication**.
10. Still on **Delivery**, scroll to **Website integration flows**. In the **Hosted page** guide, press **Copy** next to **Hosted URL**; or in the **JS embed** guide, press **Copy** under **JS embed snippet** for your web person.

## What you see

- The **Publications** list on the left shows each publication with its status and surface kind. Press one to open it.
- **Feature Gate**, **Publication Limit** and the other cards at the top are a summary; they do not change anything.
- **Disable** takes a live form offline while keeping everything. **Revoke** ends it for good. Both let you add a **Reason** that goes into the audit trail.
- **Security** holds spam protection for this publication. See [[set-up-spam-protection]] for the organization-wide settings.

## If something looks different

- **New** is greyed out: your role cannot manage publications. If creating one fails because of a limit, you have used your plan's allowance; press **Open intake limits** to check.
- The **Published version** list offers nothing but **Auto-select live version** and the field says the form has no published version yet: press **Open form authoring** and publish one.
- Customers reach the page but see the old questions: the publication points at an older **Published version**. Pick the newer one and save.
- Submissions are not showing up: see [[work-the-intake-inbox]].
