In the sidebar, open **Intake**, then **Analytics**. The page address is `/intake/analytics`. The page heading reads **Intake Analytics**. It reports on the forms customers fill in: how many get finished, where they come from, and who on your team is handling them.

## Before you start

- Your role needs permission to read intake analytics.
- If your organization uses branches, the numbers respect your branch scope.

## Steps

1. Under **Reporting Filters**, set **Received from** and **Received to** for the period you want. They start on the last 30 days; clear both for everything.
2. Narrow further if you need to: **Form**, **Publication** (the hosted page or embed), **Branch**, **Assignee**, **Source kind**, **Source channel** or **Source surface**. **Reset filters** clears them all.
3. Choose **Trend granularity** (**Daily**, **Weekly** or **Monthly**) to set how the trend lines are grouped.
4. Read **Public intake funnel** first. It follows a visit from first view, to starting the form, to submitting, to confirmation, to whatever was created from it. A big drop between two steps is where people give up.
5. Scroll to the breakdowns to find out why: **Public funnel by form**, **Public funnel by publication**, **Public funnel by source**, **Public funnel by campaign**, **Public funnel by domain** and **Public funnel by branch**.
6. Check the team side: **Workflow Distribution** shows how many submissions sit in each status, **Assignee Load** shows who has what, and **Branch Performance** compares branches.
7. To take the numbers elsewhere, press **Queue analytics export**. Nova prepares a file in the export center; **Open export center** takes you there.

## What you see

- **Marketing overview** summarises public demand by source, campaign, domain and publication and calls out the biggest drop-off points.
- **Form Performance** compares forms on submissions, spam rate and how many turned into something. **Publication Surfaces** and **Source Performance** do the same for pages and sources.
- **Attribution Performance** shows which channels produce real submissions rather than just visits.
- Shortcut buttons at the top open the **Open inbox**, **Manage forms** and **Publication settings** pages.

## If something looks different

- A section reads that no data is available for the current filters: widen the dates or clear a filter. New organizations see empty panels until forms have been live for a while.
- **Queue analytics export** is greyed out: your role cannot create exports. Ask your admin.
- The funnel shows views but no starts: the form is being seen but nobody presses into it. Check the page it is embedded on, then review the form's first questions; see [[create-an-intake-form]].
