In the sidebar, open **Automation**, then **Overview**. Scroll to **Domain automation hubs** and press **Lodging**, **Rentals** or **Bookings & Activities**. The page addresses are `/lodging/lifecycle`, `/rentals/lifecycle` and `/bookings/lifecycle`, and the headings read **Lodging lifecycle hub**, **Rental lifecycle hub** and **Booking lifecycle hub**. **Automation details** under **Customer messages** on a reservation, rental or activity booking opens the matching hub too.

Each hub watches the automated messages for one kind of booking: pre-arrival and checkout reminders for stays, pickup and return reminders for rentals, reminders and follow-ups for activities.

## Before you start

- Your role needs permission to read bookings to open the page, and permission to view automation to see anything on it. Without the second, the page shows **Lifecycle access is unavailable**.
- Pausing, resuming and stopping a sequence, reviewing approvals and creating automations each need their own permission. Controls you lack are greyed out or missing.

## Steps

1. Read the four tiles at the top: **Visible automations**, **Pending approvals**, **Open enrollments** and the next due action.
2. Scroll to **Actionable enrollments**. Each row is one booking currently inside an automation, with its **Status**, **Subject**, **Current step** and **Next due** date.
3. To hold the messages for one booking, press **Pause lifecycle sequence** on its row. Press **Resume** when they should carry on.
4. To end them for good, press **Suppress future actions** and confirm in **Suppress future lifecycle actions?**. The history stays; nothing further is sent.
5. Press **Why this happened** to see the reasoning behind a step, or **Open record** to jump to the booking.
6. To handle approvals, press **Work domain approvals** under **Quick actions**, or **Review next approval** to open the next one.

## What you see

- **Active automations** lists the automations set up for that kind of booking, each with its **Journey**, **Scope** and when it was **Updated**.
- **Interventions and holds** collects blocked, held and failed steps that still need someone.
- **Recent lodging lifecycle activity**, **Recent rental lifecycle activity** or **Recent booking lifecycle activity** shows what ran lately. **Lodging lifecycle analytics**, **Rental reminder analytics** or **Booking follow-up analytics** shows results when your role can see analytics.
- **Open Schedule** returns to the Schedule, filtered to that booking type on the lodging and rental hubs. **Open control plane** and **Global approval queue** go to the organization-wide automation pages.

## If something looks different

- A **Quick actions** card shows **View only**, **Approval review gated**, **Analytics gated** or **Content access gated**: your role lacks that permission.
- **Create lodging automation**, **Create rental automation** or **Create booking automation** opens the automation builder. That is an admin task. On the rental and booking hubs a second button under **Create or extend** starts from the ready-made rental reminders or activity follow-ups starter.
- You only want to stop messages for one guest or renter: use the **Customer messages** switches on that booking instead (see [[manage-a-lodging-reservation-or-rental]]).
- Nothing is listed under **Active automations**: none has been set up for this kind of booking in this branch yet.
