In the sidebar, open **Operations**, then **Availability**, then **Availability Requests**. The page address is `/schedule/availability/requests`.

## Before you start

Your admin has to give your role permission to review availability requests. Without it you can read the **Pending review** list, but **Approve** and **Deny** are hidden.

## Steps

To decide one request:

1. Find it under **Pending review**. Each card shows the leave label, the person, the dates, how many overlapping bookings and impacted crews it touches, and whether a note is on file. **Escalated** marks a request that has waited too long.
2. Press **Review** to open the full request. The right side shows **Leave Balance Context** and **Approval Impact**, including **Suggested replacements** when someone else could cover the work.
3. Type an optional **Review Note**.
4. Press **Approve** or **Deny**. To withdraw the request altogether, press **Cancel request**.

For a quick decision, press **Approve** or **Deny** on the card itself.

To decide several at once:

1. Tick the box on each request, or tick **Select all**.
2. Optional: type a **Bulk review note** that goes on every one.
3. Press **Bulk approve** or **Bulk deny**.

## What you see

The card leaves the pending list. An approved request becomes a block in the person's lane on **Time Off & Availability**, and the Schedule treats that time as unavailable. A denied request stays on record with a **Denied** chip.

Use **Search requests** and the **Sort** list (**Start time**, **Newest created**, **Assignment**) to find a request. **Filters** opens a side panel with **Branch**, **Lane**, **Resource**, **Request State**, **Request Type**, **Source** and **Leave Type**. The list shows **Pending** requests until you change **Request State** to **Approved**, **Denied** or **Cancelled**.

## If something looks different

- The list says no requests match the current filters: nothing is pending for this branch and filter set. Change **Request State** or press **Reset filters**.
- The page says request review is not available with your current permissions: ask your admin for the review permission.
- **Export requests data** and **Export center** are shown: your role can export data. The first queues an export of the requests; the second opens the export centre where you download it.
