Inventory
Products and parts, stock counts, moving stock, low stock and what sells at the counter.
- Add a product or part
Add a part, product or material to your catalog with its SKU, unit, reorder levels and default price, so it can be tracked in stock and added to quotes and invoices.
- Add a storage location
Set up the places stock lives, such as a warehouse, a service truck, a staging shelf or a customer site, so every part can be counted and moved by location.
- Add serial-numbered stock
Record one physical unit of a serialized item, such as a furnace or a compressor, with its serial number, tag and location, and retire it when it is gone.
- Check low stock for register items
See which products and parts are low, critical or out of stock, how much is on hand against the reorder point, and what recent counter sales moved the stock.
- Count stock
Run a physical count of one location, enter what you actually found, and post it so Nova corrects the stock levels for you.
- Move stock between locations
Create a transfer that moves parts and serial-numbered units from one location to another, such as warehouse to truck, then mark it complete when it arrives.
- Prepare an item for the register
Check which inventory items can be sold at the counter, give an item a barcode or quick key, and mark it as a favorite so cashiers find it fast.
- Record a stock movement
Add stock you received, write off stock you used or lost, or correct a count, and review the running history of every stock change per item and location.
