The Operations Map is available at `/schedule/map`, through search, or by
pressing **Map** on the Schedule List. On the Schedule calendar, press
**Daily route**. On a phone the route opens full width.

## Check one working day

1. Choose **Person** inside the route. If the business has only one technician,
Nova selects them automatically. Equipment is not a technician route.
2. Choose **Working day**. You can keep a week or month visible on the calendar
while inspecting one date; separate days are never one continuous route.
3. Read the itinerary and warnings. It includes all that person's commitments,
including crew work, meetings, breaks and leave. Calendar search or type
filters do not hide work from the daily assessment.
4. Use **Directions** on a confirmed service location to open directions. The list
remains readable when the map cannot load. Map pins and the list refer to
   the same daily snapshot.
5. Press **Refresh route**, or the Schedule's **Refresh**, after a change.
A saved move and schedule events also refresh the shared route.

## Set the real start and finish

Open **Start, finish and working arrangements**. Choose whether to change the
organization, branch, technician or just this working day, as your permissions
allow. Empty choices inherit; **Clear this layer and inherit** removes an
override. Organization → operating branch → technician → working day is the
order of precedence.

Choose an operating shop, an explicitly saved private location, or a different
location with a confirmed map pin for this day. A private base is configured
deliberately, never copied from a user profile. Changing the top-bar branch
never silently replaces the technician's starting location.

**First work order — exclude outbound driving** excludes outbound driving. **Last work order — exclude final driving** excludes final driving.
Nova states those exclusions; they are not the full journey to and from work.
**Return to starting location** includes the return. A missing inherited
location needs a new arrangement.

Earliest departure and latest finish narrow the existing working hours and
availability. Parking/access allowance adds time to travel feasibility. Paid
travel is a separate setting; it does not change whether a day fits.

## Read incomplete information

A physical visit uses its selected service location as one address/pin unit.
An explicit visit override never borrows another site's coordinates. Missing,
pending, failed, approximate and stale locations have different warnings.
Confirm an approximate pin before relying on driving times. Zero latitude or
longitude is valid.

A date-only work order remains visible with **Time needed**. A continuing multi-day
visit blocks its remaining time without inventing another drive to it.
Completed and in-progress visits stay fixed. Recurring work names the selected
occurrence.

Road lines are drawn only when road geometry exists. **Driving time unavailable**
means the calculation is unknown, not zero. Predicted traffic uses each actual
departure; a static fallback is labelled as a road estimate. Missing geometry
does not erase a known duration. Start/end choices and all commitments must be
usable before the route can be assessed as complete.

The daily calculation limit is 60 visits. If it is exceeded, all visits remain
listed and Nova states the limit; no shortened list is presented as the whole
day. Warnings are available in the list and do not depend on colour or hovering.

A stale or offline response is labelled as the last available itinerary.
Refresh before relying on its driving information or making changes.

## Review a better schedule

Open **Suggest a better schedule** on the daily route. You can hold optional
visits at their current time. Nova shows exact appointment changes, road driving
before and after, expected finish, preserved customer windows and any limits.
Select **I accept these exact appointment changes.** before **Apply changes**.
For committed customer appointments, separately review customer updates. Those
updates follow each work order's existing message settings after the save.

A proposal expires after ten minutes. If the schedule, availability, location or
route arrangements change, review a new proposal. **Undo these changes** is
available after application only while the affected days remain unchanged.
All accepted appointments save together, or none save.

## Find places for selected work

In the Schedule's Unscheduled list, open **Plan selected work**. You can also
choose **Find a suitable time** from an unscheduled work order's actions, or
plan the selected visit from its daily itinerary. Select the work
orders, confirm their expected duration, choose eligible people and a day,
three-day, week or custom range. Permitted dates can narrow that range. The
additional-driving limit means how much a placement adds to that complete day.

For one work order, choose **Find a suitable time** and inspect the returned
person, date and times. For several, choose **Plan selected work**. Review the
exact proposal before applying it. Existing unselected appointments stay fixed;
work that cannot fit appears with its reason. Nova does not schedule other work
orders merely because they are in the queue.

Larger selected scopes run through the planning worker. The screen shows its
progress; **Cancel planning** stops the preview without changing appointments.
Road comparisons are refreshed for review, rather than stored with a queued
request. Planning is bounded to 60 selected work orders, 25 people, 31 dates
and 100 daily routes; work beyond a calculation limit stays unplaced with its
reason.

For recurring work, explicitly allow only the selected occurrence to move. The
series and its other occurrences stay in place. **Keep this time**, completed
work and work in progress remain fixed.

**Compare the next seven working days** loads daily summaries on request.
Choose one to open its itinerary. Driving stays separate for each day.

## Follow the itinerary on a phone

On mobile web, the daily route fills the route sheet. In Android, open
**Daily route** from the Schedule, choose a person and working day, and use
**Directions** on a confirmed service location. Your own route is selected when
available. The itinerary refreshes when reopened or reconnected; Android checks
for changed schedule inputs while the sheet is open.

The last available itinerary remains readable offline for up to 24 hours on that
device. It is labelled with its update time. Offline copies contain Nova's
appointments and access instructions; road calculations need a fresh connection.
Applying changes requires current server checks.

For your own route today, **Use my current position for today** requests one
position explicitly. Nova shows the capture time and accuracy before you save the
day's arrangement. Android also provides **Today's starting and finishing
arrangements** for an inherited choice, a confirmed pin, first/last visit or
return to start. Save within five minutes; an older position needs another
capture or an explicitly chosen pin. Completed work remains readable history,
and work in progress blocks its remaining time. There is no continuous tracking.

With scheduling edit permission, Android also offers **Suggest a better
schedule**. Hold optional visits at their current time or deliberately allow one
recurring occurrence to move, then choose "Calculate a proposal". Review the exact
times and assignments, accept the changes and separately acknowledge required
customer updates before **Apply changes**. Completed and in-progress work stay
fixed. **Undo these changes** is available only while the applied schedule remains
unchanged and its review window is open. A stale or expired proposal needs a new
calculation; offline copies cannot apply changes.
