Select your picture or initials at the right end of the top bar, then select **Security** in your account menu. Scroll down to **Session preferences**, **Devices you've used** and **Active sessions**. The page address is `/profile/security`.

Use this when you left Nova signed in on a shared computer, lost a phone, or see a sign-in you do not recognise.

## Steps

1. Under **Active sessions**, read the list. Each entry names the browser or app, its IP address and location when known, and when it signed in and was last active. Your own shows **Current session**.
2. To narrow the list, pick a filter such as **Web** or **Android** above it.
3. To end one session, select **Sign out device** on it and confirm **Sign out device**. That device is signed out at once and needs the password again.
4. Do not recognise a session? Select **This wasn't me** instead and confirm **Sign out device**. Nova signs it out and takes you to **Password** so you can change your password straight away.
5. To clear everything else, select **Sign out other devices** and confirm **Sign out others**. Your current session stays open. **Sign out all devices** signs out this device too.
6. Under **Devices you've used**, select **Forget** next to a device. The next sign-in from it is treated as a new device. It asks for the extra check when you or your company require two-step verification, or when the sign-in looks unusual.

## What you see

- Devices marked **Remembered** skip the extra sign-in check until the date shown. Forgetting one only removes that shortcut; it does not sign it out. Sign out the device as well if you need it out now.
- **Edit label** on a session lets you name it, for example "Shop computer", so it is easy to spot next time.
- **Details** under a session shows more about the browser, system and app.

## Only one device at a time

Under **Session preferences**, select **Enable single-session mode** and confirm **Sign out others and enable**. Nova signs out every other browser and app, including Nova on your phone. From then on, signing in somewhere new signs out the device you used before. Select **Turn off** to allow several devices again.

## If something looks different

- A session shows **Review** or **High attention**: Nova noticed something unusual about it, such as a new place or network. If it was not you, use **This wasn't me**.
- After you change your password, Nova may sign out your other sessions and tells you how many ([[keep-your-nova-sign-in-secure]]).
