In the sidebar, open **Agreements**, then **Signing**, and press the agreement's title. The page address is `/agreements/signing/` followed by the agreement. There, a signer from your own team has **Open signer view** under **Signer sessions**. It opens their signing page, whose address is `/agreements/signing/session/` followed by the signer's session. Nova also sends you a notification when an agreement is ready for your signature. [[track-agreement-signing]] explains the rest of the execution view.

Use this when your company signs too: a counter-signature, a manager's signature or a witness.

## Before you start

- You must be signed in as the team member named on the agreement. Nothing else is asked; there is no code.
- When people sign in a set order, your turn comes once the people before you have signed.

## Steps

1. In the agreement's execution view, find your name under **Signer sessions** and press **Open signer view**. The **Signer Review** page opens.
2. Under **Review the agreement**, read the document, then press **Next**.
3. Under **Choose your signature**, pick **Typed signature** and type your full name, or **Draw signature** and draw it.
4. Under **Before you finish**, press **Tap to confirm** on each check: **I consent to electronic signing or acknowledgement.**, **I reviewed this agreement.** and **I am the intended signer or approver.**
5. Press **Finish signing**. Depending on what the agreement asks of you, the button reads **Finish approval**, **Finish acceptance** or **Finish acknowledgement** instead.

For an agreement made from an uploaded PDF, the steps are **Signature**, **Fields** and **Finish**. Save your signature with **Save and continue**, press **Next** to move through each highlighted field, then press **Continue to finish**.

## What you see

- **Signature recorded** means your part is done; others may still have to sign. **Agreement complete** means everyone has signed and the finished PDF is ready to download.
- Back in the execution view, **Execution progress** shows your signature.

## If something looks different

- **Open signer view** is missing for a signer: that person signs from a link, not from inside Nova. See [[send-a-signing-link-yourself]].
- **Internal sign-in required.**: you are signed in as someone other than the named signer. Sign in as that person and open it again.
- **Finish signing** stays greyed out: a check is not confirmed or no signature is set. The note under the button says which.
- You should not sign it: open **Other options**, press **Decline agreement**, type a **Reason** and press **Decline agreement** again. The sender sees your reason.
- **This signer session was revoked.** or **This signer session expired.**: the link no longer works. Ask the person who sent the agreement to send it again.
