In the sidebar, open **Agreements**, then **Signing**. The page address is `/agreements/signing`. The heading reads **Signing**. Where All Agreements lists everything including drafts, this page holds only agreements that are out for approval or signature, and shows who has to act next.

## Before you start

- Your role needs permission to view the **Signing** page. Drafts never appear here; an agreement joins the list once it is submitted for approval or issued.

## Steps

1. Read the tiles at the top: **Visible work items**, **Pending approvals**, **Signer actions left** and **Signed / completed**.
2. Find the agreement: type in **Search signing workbench by agreement title, code, or signer**, or press **Filters** and choose a **Status** (a stage from **Pending approval** through **Completed**), **Approval State** or **Provider**.
3. Read the **Next Step** column. It says how many approvals are waiting, how many signer actions remain, that Nova is waiting for a scheduled delivery, or that the agreement is ready for a final look.
4. Press the agreement's title, or **Open workbench** from its row menu, to open its execution view. **Agreement detail** opens the agreement itself.
5. In the execution view, read **Execution progress**. Each signer shows their status, signing order, whether they are **Required** or **Optional** and **Internal** or **External**, and when they opened, signed or declined.
6. Read **Signer sessions**. Each signer has one session with its delivery channel and masked address, and when it was sent, opened, verified and expires.

## What you see

- In the execution view, four tiles: **Sessions**, **Pending send/open** (or **Scheduled send** when delivery is timed), **Viewed signers** and **Executed at**.
- An agreement scheduled to go out later shows a banner naming the send time; signer sessions appear once delivery starts.
- **Open signer view** on an internal signer's session opens the signing screen for a team member who has to sign.
- **Manual delivery link** under each session lets you hand a signer a link yourself: see [[send-a-signing-link-yourself]].
- When an agreement has no signature blocks, its completed PDF adds a signing record page with the signers' names, signatures and signing dates.
- **Back to execution workbench** returns to the list; **All agreements** returns to the full inventory.

## Emails signers receive

Signing emails explain the outcome directly: “You signed” confirms one person’s signature, while “Your signed copy” means the final document is ready. A cancelled signing request says “Signing request cancelled”. A request that expired says “Time to sign has ended” and explains that the signer should contact the sender if they still need to sign. These notices keep the document title, reference and dates.

## If something looks different

- **No signing work items match your current filters.**: nothing is out for approval or signature in this slice. Press **Reset filters**.
- **Agreement not available in the execution workbench**: the link points at a draft or an agreement that has finished; open it from [[find-an-agreement]] instead.
- **Execution summary is not available for this agreement yet.**: the agreement has been approved but not yet issued to signers.
- You want the numbers over time rather than today's list: see [[read-agreement-reports]].
