In the sidebar, open **Sales & Billing**, then **Quotes**, and open a quote from the list or start a new one. The worksheet opens over the quote, and the page address ends in `/worksheet`. Invoices have the same worksheet.

## Before you start

- The quote has to be open for editing. On a quote you can only view, the worksheet controls are greyed out.
- Margin and cost figures only show when your role can see costs.

## Steps

1. Open the actions menu (the three dots at the top of the quote), press **See more**, and choose **Worksheet**. The **Scenario builder** opens full screen.
2. Press **Add scenario** for a blank set of lines, or **Duplicate** to copy the one you are on. Each scenario is its own set of lines, for example a standard furnace and a high-efficiency one.
3. Give the scenario a **Scenario name** and a **Scenario description**. **Scenario notes** and **Worksheet notes** are for your team.
4. Under **Active scenario**, pick the one the quote should use. The quote's lines, and what the customer sees, come from the active scenario.
5. To add a saved group of parts and labour, pick it under **Reusable assembly** and press **Insert assembly**.
6. To bring lines in from a spreadsheet, press **Load CSV file** and pick the file, or press **Import CSV**, paste the rows, and choose **Append rows** or **Replace scenario**. **Export CSV** saves the current lines as a spreadsheet.
7. Press **Close worksheet**, then **Save** on the quote.

## What you see

- **Scenario total** is the full build. **Customer total** is what the customer pays once packages are rolled up.
- **Customer lines** counts the lines the customer's PDF, email and online page show. **Worksheet rows** counts every line you built.
- **Low margin** and **Negative margin** count lines priced below your margin target or below cost.
- **Purchase-ready** counts lines to order that have a supplier; **Missing vendors** counts lines to order that still need one.
- **Hidden rollup checks** counts lines you hid from the customer that are not inside a package. Put each under a package line so the customer's total still adds up.
- **Warnings** counts pricing problems Nova found. The footer shows how many scenarios and rows you have.
- **Default customer visibility** decides how new lines appear to the customer: **Customer summary**, **Customer detail** or **Internal only**.

## If something looks different

- **Insert assembly** stays greyed out: no saved assembly exists yet, or you have not picked one.
- **Remove** is greyed out: a quote always keeps at least one scenario. It deletes the scenario you are on, so switch to the one you want gone first.
- The customer sees the wrong set of lines: check **Active scenario**, then save the quote and send the update.
- The figures look out of date: Nova rechecks them a moment after each change. Wait, then look again.
