Select your name at the top right of the portal, then **Account information**. The page address ends in `/account`.

## Before you start

- This page is for people who sign in with their own username. If you opened the portal from a link to one document, it sends you back to the **Overview**.

## Steps

1. Under **Your name**, type the name you want shown in **Display name**. Leave it blank to use the name the company has on file.
2. Select **Save changes**. The page confirms that your account information was updated. Select **Cancel** to go back to the page you came from without saving.

## What you see

- **How you sign in** shows the username you sign in with, with links to **Sign-in & security** and **Change your password**. See [[turn-on-two-step-verification-in-the-portal]] and [[change-your-portal-password]].
- The last card lists what the company manages for you: the business name and billing details on your account, payment terms and balances, and service and mailing addresses. Contact the company to change any of those. The card shows their email and phone when they have shared them.

## If something looks different

- You cannot change your email address or phone number here: the company keeps those on file because they are used to send you invoices and verification codes. Ask them to update it.
- **Save changes** is greyed out: nothing has changed yet.
- An error appears after saving: the message says what to fix. If it says too many changes at once, wait a moment and try again.
