In the sidebar, open **Projects & Tasks**, then **Projects**, and open a project from the list. The page address is `/work/projects/` followed by the project and the tab you are on. It is laid out like every record page (see [[find-your-way-around-a-record]]).

## What you see

- At the top: the project's name, its status and its description.
- The summary strip: **Account**, **Portfolio**, **Project Number**, **Tasks**, **Work Orders** and **Timeline** (start and due dates).
- The details panel on the left:
  - **Parent context**: the customer account and the portfolio the project belongs to.
  - **Project details**: account, portfolio, when it was created, updated and archived, and its timeline.
  - **Task stack** and **Work orders**: the first few linked tasks and work orders, with their counts.
  - **Additional details**: your organization's own fields, editable here.

## The tabs

- **Overview**: checklist readiness, the **Project brief** (press **Edit description** to change it), the **Execution snapshot** with **Outstanding tasks**, **Completed tasks** and **Linked work orders**, and shortcuts.
- **Work Orders**: the work orders linked to the project. **New work order** starts one for this customer.
- **Tasks**: the project's tasks grouped by phase. Press a task to open it in a side panel. **Manage phases** adds, renames, reorders or archives phases with **Add phase**.
- **Reminders**: reminders about the project's start, due date or follow-ups, when your plan includes them. Pick recipients with **Add recipient**, set the time, then press **Add reminder**. Each reminder has **Dismiss** (or **Restore**) and **Remove**.
- **Checklists**: phase gates and quality checks ([[run-a-checklist-on-a-record]]).
- **Time**: time logged to the project, its tasks and its work orders.
- **Agreements**: documents sent for signature for this project.
- **Notes**, **Files** and **Access** ([[add-a-note-to-a-record]], [[attach-a-file-to-a-record]], [[keep-access-details-on-a-record]]).
- **Activity**: everything that happened on the project ([[read-a-record-activity-history]]).

## The Actions menu

- **Back to projects**, **Add note** and **Upload file**.
- **Edit project** opens `/work/projects/` followed by the project and `/edit`. Change the **Name**, the number, the **Portfolio**, the **Status**, the dates and the description, then press **Save**. Nova takes you back to the project. The customer account cannot be changed.
- **Save as template** saves this project's structure as a project template ([[create-a-project-template]]).
- **Customize tabs** ([[customize-tabs-on-one-record]]).
- **Archive project**, last and in red. **Archive this project?** asks for a reason when your organization wants one. An archived project shows **Restore project** at the top of the menu instead ([[archive-or-restore-a-project]]).

## If something looks different

- **Edit project** is missing: your role cannot update projects.
- **Reminders** is missing: project reminders are not part of your plan. The **Customize tabs** panel does not list this tab.
- **Save as template** is missing: project templates are off, or your role cannot create them.
