Read an intake submission
What an intake submission's page shows, section by section and tab by tab, so you can see what the customer sent, where they came from and what Nova did with it.
In the sidebar, open Intake, then Inbox, and open a submission. The page address is /intake/inbox/ followed by the submission and the tab you are on. It is laid out like every record page (see Find your way around a record page). To change its status, claim it or assign it, see Update an intake submission.
What you see
- The summary strip: when it was Received, the Assignee, the Source, the Publication (the published form it came through) and the Outcomes Nova produced.
- The details panel on the left:
- Submission details: the Form, Publication and Source, and when it was Received, when the Status changed and when it was Converted.
- Submitter and assignment: the sender's Name, Email, Phone and Company, the Assignee and when it was Assigned at.
- Attribution context: the page they used (Page URL), the Referrer, their IP address and browser, and the Branch.
- Routing snapshot: counts of the Outcomes, Notifications, Internal alerts and Confirmations Nova sent, and any Service asset it matched.
The tabs
- Overview: Workflow controls for status, assignment, moderation and security, and the dates the submission was received, changed, closed or archived.
- Notes & tags: internal notes, using the same notes as every record (Add a note to a customer or record), and Submission tags. Your organization may require a note before closing.
- Attachments: the files the customer sent and any you add. Drop files on Drag files here to attach. A quarantined file says why and can be rescanned.
- Checklists: checklists for handling this kind of request (Run a checklist on a work order or record).
- Submitted values: exactly what the customer typed, field by field.
- Attribution: where they came from, including any campaign tags.
- Timeline: every status, assignment, moderation and note change, with Latest activity and Collaboration events at the top.
- Routing & conversion: what Nova created from the submission (an account, a ticket, a task), the Internal alerts and Customer confirmations it sent, and the equipment it matched under Linked Service Asset.
The Actions menu
- Back to inbox returns to the list with your filters as you left them.
- Open public surface opens the form page the customer used, in a new tab.
If something looks different
- A tab is missing: an admin hid it, or your role cannot see that part of intake.
- Open public surface is missing: the form is no longer published.
- Controls on Overview are greyed out: your role can read submissions but not change them.
