Agreements
Templates, clauses, signing and reports.
- Approve an agreement before it goes out
Ask someone in your company to approve an agreement before any customer sees it, and, as the approver, approve it so Nova sends it for signing.
- Change or retire a clause
Reword a published clause by starting a new draft version and publishing it, look back through its versions, or deprecate or archive a clause you no longer use.
- Change, copy or retire an agreement template
Start a new draft of a locked agreement template, lock the new version, copy a template, look back through its versions, or retire it so nobody starts new agreements from it.
- Create a clause
Write one reusable block of contract wording, such as payment terms or a cancellation policy, add the fill-in details that change per customer, and publish it for templates to use.
- Create an agreement
Start a new agreement for a customer to sign, either built from a template inside Nova, from a PDF you already have, or from a reusable PDF packet, and link it to the customer's record.
- Create an agreement template
Build the reusable layout of an agreement from clauses, text, price lists and signature blocks, then lock the version so every agreement you send starts from the same document.
- Find an agreement
Search the agreements list by title, number, signer or customer, filter by status and approval state, and open the agreement or jump straight to its signing progress.
- Get an agreement ready and send it for signing
Open a draft agreement, add the people who sign, link the customer, clear what blocks it, then send it for signing now or at a time you pick.
- Place signature fields on a PDF agreement and send it
In the signing PDF editor, link the customer, add who signs, click signature, initials and date fields onto your PDF, then check it and send it for signing.
- Read agreement reports
See how many agreements are waiting on you or on customers, how long signing takes, where agreements stall, and which templates get used, then drill into the list behind any number.
- Resend, revise or cancel a sent agreement
Remind or resend to one signer, stop signing, mark an agreement expired, start a corrected copy, or download the signed PDF and its signing record.
- Send a signing link yourself
Generate a signing link for one signer from the Signing page and hand it over by text, email or in person when the automatic delivery did not reach them.
- Sign an agreement as a team member
When an agreement needs your own signature, such as a counter-signature for your company, open your signer view, read the agreement, then sign it or decline it.
- Track agreement signing
Use the Signing page to see every agreement out for approval or signature, who has to act next, and whether each signer has opened, signed or declined.
