See where you are signed in and sign out other devices
Check the devices and browser sessions using your portal account, sign out any you do not recognise, forget a remembered device, or allow only one signed-in device.
Select your name at the top right of the portal, then How you sign in. Scroll to Devices you've used and Active sessions. The page address ends in /security.
Steps
- Under Devices you've used, read the list of devices you have signed in from. Each device shows its name, This device for the one you are on, and Trusted when you chose to remember it at sign-in.
- Select Remove on any device you do not recognise, then Remove device. The portal asks for a code the next time that device is used.
- Under Active sessions, read where your account is signed in right now. Each row shows This session on the current one, when it was last active, and Kept signed in or Browser session.
- Select Sign out on a session to end it, Sign out all other sessions (shown when another session is listed) to keep only this one, or Sign out everywhere to end every session including this one. Signing out this session or everywhere takes you back to the sign-in page.
What you see
- Allow only one signed-in device at a time is a switch under Active sessions. Turning it on signs out every other session now, and again each time you sign in somewhere new.
- Sign out everywhere also forgets every remembered device, so every sign-in asks for a code again.
If something looks different
- No devices remembered yet.: no device is on record for your account yet.
- No active sessions found.: the list could not load. Refresh the page.
- You think someone else has your password: select Sign out everywhere, then change your password (Change your portal password) and turn on a second step (Turn on two-step verification).
