Rate the help you got
Answer the feedback email a company sends after your request is resolved, confirm your rating from 1 to 5, add a comment, and see what the page says when the link has run out.
When a company resolves a request you sent, it may email you asking how it went. Selecting a rating in that email opens a page headed Support feedback, at an address that starts with /feedback/csat. You can also rate a resolved request inside the portal; see Follow a request and reply.
Steps
- In the email, select the rating that fits. The page opens on Confirm your feedback with that rating already chosen. Nothing is recorded yet.
- Under Your rating, keep the rating or pick another, from 1/5 (Very dissatisfied) to 5/5 (Very satisfied).
- Type anything you want the company to know under Comment. It is optional.
- Select Submit feedback.
What you see
- The page thanks you and shows the rating it recorded, for the request it was about.
- Open the customer portal appears when you can follow the request there.
- The link takes one answer. Opening it again after you answered says your feedback was already recorded.
If something looks different
- This feedback link is incomplete: part of the link is missing. Open the original link from the email again, or rate the request in the portal.
- The page says the link has expired or is no longer available: the time to answer ran out, or the company sent a newer request for feedback. You can still read the request in the portal.
- We couldn’t submit your feedback. Please check your connection and try again.: nothing was recorded. Check your connection and select Submit feedback again.
