Save a discount audience
Save a group of customers, such as VIP or gold-tier accounts, once so several discounts and codes can target the same people.
In the sidebar, open Settings, then choose Discount Audiences under Sales & Billing. The page address is /settings/org/billing/discounts/audience-segments.
Steps
- Press New segment. The New audience segment panel opens.
- Give it a Name and a Segment key, and add a Description so others know who it covers.
- Tick the kinds of customer it covers, if any: Authenticated customer, Portal-only, Public guest booking only, First-time customer, Returning customer or Lapsed customer. For lapsed customers, set Lapsed threshold (days).
- Narrow it further with Customer segments, Customer tiers or Lifecycle segments (words separated by commas, such as
vip, enterprise), or with Branch targeting. - Leave Status as Active and press Create segment. Nova says Audience segment created.
What you see
- Reusable eligibility targets lists every saved audience with a Summary and how many discounts use it under Usage. An audience no discount uses reads Unused.
- Each row's actions offer Edit segment and Delete segment. Editing saves with Save segment.
- To use an audience, tick it under Eligibility & Surfaces on the discount, beside Audience match mode; see Create a discount.
If something looks different
- The fields are greyed out: your role can see audiences but not change them.
- Account ids and Catalog refs ask for internal numbers from Nova. Leave them empty unless Nova support gives you the values.
