Nova Set company-wide discount rules
Switch every discount off in an emergency, switch discounts off for one branch, and decide which kind of discount wins when two would apply.
In the sidebar, open Settings, then choose Discount Rules under Sales & Billing. The page address is /settings/org/billing/discounts/governance. The page heading reads Discount Governance.
Steps
- To stop every discount while you look into a problem, turn on Emergency org kill-switch. Nova stops applying discounts anywhere until you turn it off.
- To stop discounts in some branches only, tick them under Branch kill-switches.
- To decide which kind of discount wins when two would apply, press Add family suppression rule, choose the Winning family key and the Suppressed family keys, and set its Scope (Organization or Branch) and Priority. Remove rule takes one away.
- Press Save discount policy. The button reads Saved for a moment.
If something looks different
- Governance read-only shows: your role can view these rules but not change them.
- A suppression rule with Branch scope asks for Branch ids, which are internal numbers. Use Organization scope unless Nova support gives you the values.
- Reset discount policy deletes your saved rules straight away and puts Nova's standard discount policy back. It does not ask first, and it is not an undo for unsaved edits; to drop edits you have not saved, leave the page without saving.
