Nova Your profile
Your details, sign-in and security, notifications, preferences, calling and My Day.
- Add, verify or change your email and phone
Add an email address or phone number to your profile, verify it with a link or a code, choose which one is primary, and remove the ones you no longer use.
- Change your password and keep your sign-in secure
Tour the Security tab of your profile, change your password or username, act on Nova's security suggestions, and choose which reminders Nova shows you.
- Check your time off balance and past requests
Open My Time Off from your profile to see how much time off you have left, what is waiting for approval, and every request you have sent, then open one to change or cancel it.
- Choose how and when Nova notifies you
Pick which ways Nova can reach you (in Nova, browser, email, text, call, phone app), turn topics on or off, set quiet hours, and decide which alerts pop up on screen.
- Choose where Nova opens and how it looks for you
Pick the page Nova opens on, your default workspace, your work mode, 12- or 24-hour times, whether menus remember their layout, and your Android app tabs.
- Save an address on your profile
Keep your own home or mailing address on your profile, pin it on the map, mark it as a service location, and edit or remove it later.
- See where you are signed in and sign out other devices
Check every computer, phone and app signed in to your Nova account, sign one or all of them out, forget a remembered device, and allow only one device at a time.
- Set up calling from your browser and your cell phone
Decide how the browser softphone behaves for you, set the access code for recorded calls from your own cell phone, and choose what happens when you click a phone number or email.
- Switch organizations, pick a default, or leave one
See every organization you belong to, accept an invitation, choose which one opens when you sign in, switch to another, or leave one you no longer work for.
- Turn on two-step verification and add a passkey
Ask for a second check after your password, set up an authenticator app, save backup codes, add a passkey to sign in with your fingerprint or face, and choose which method Nova tries first.
- Update your name, photo and time zone
Open your profile from the account menu, change the name your team sees, add a photo or initials, and set the time zone Nova shows your times in.
- Use your own colours in Nova
Colour your own top bar and sidebar differently from the rest of your team, with a light and a dark look, or go back to your company's colours.
- Work through today's visits in My Day
See the work orders assigned to you today, start and stop your timer as you arrive and leave, tell the customer you are on the way, and move each one to en route, started or completed.
