Nova Help

Save an address on your profile

Keep your own home or mailing address on your profile, pin it on the map, mark it as a service location, and edit or remove it later.

Updated in release 0.0.1 Open this page in Nova

Select your picture or initials at the right end of the top bar, select Profile, then choose the Addresses tab. The page, headed My Addresses, has an Add address card and your Saved addresses below it. The page address is /profile/addresses.

These are your own addresses, such as where you live or where you get your mail. Your customers' addresses belong on their accounts, not here.

Steps

  1. Under Add address, start typing in Search for an address and pick the match. Nova fills in the street, city, region, postal code and country, and drops a pin on the map.
  2. If the search does not find it, switch from Search to Manual beside Address and type each part yourself. Pick the Country and Region from their lists. After a search pick, Edit manually does the same.
  3. Check the pin under New address. If it sits in the wrong spot, select Move pin and drag it to the right door or driveway.
  4. Switch on Service location to mark it as a place you work from rather than a mailing address.
  5. Optional: open Advanced to set a Timezone for this address (it follows your profile's time zone until you pick one), add Notes, or mark the address Archived.
  6. Select Add address. Nova shows "Address added." and lists it under Saved addresses.

What you see

Each saved address shows its full address and chips for Service location, Archived and Notes when they apply.

  • To change one, select Edit, make your changes, and select Save.
  • To delete one, select Remove, then confirm Remove.

If something looks different

  • There is no search box, only typed fields, and a line says address search is not available right now: type the address in and set the pin yourself with Set pin on map, or type the coordinates.
  • Nova will not save and shows a message under a field: street address, city, region, postal code and country are all required.
