Equipment & Fleet
Your vans, trailers and kits, whether they are ready, and field scans.
- Change an asset profile and upgrade its assets
Make a new version of an asset profile, publish it, compare it with older versions, then move each asset onto the new version or archive a profile you no longer use.
- Change or deactivate an asset class
Rename an equipment family, change its readiness policy or default profile, publish a draft class, or deactivate a class you no longer use.
- Change what is inside an asset or kit
Install a part or tool in a trailer, van or kit, swap it for another, move it to a different kit, or take it out, from the Contents tab of the asset's page.
- Check which assets are ready to dispatch
Use the Readiness page to see which vans, trailers and kits can go out today, which carry a warning, and which are blocked or out of service, then open the ones that need attention.
- Create an asset class
Define an equipment family such as "Utility trailer" or "Service van" with its category, kind, readiness policy and default profile, then publish it so assets can be grouped and filtered by it.
- Create an asset profile
Build the reusable rule set for one kind of equipment, its required documents, meters, kit parts, supplies, checklists and service programs, then publish it so assets can be created from it.
- Create an operational asset
Add a van, trailer, generator, kit or tool to the Asset Registry by starting from a profile and filling in its name, tag, serial number and branch.
- Find an operational asset
Search the Asset Registry for a van, trailer, kit or tool, narrow it by branch, class, readiness or queue, then open the asset or act on several at once.
- Let a blocked asset go out with a readiness override
Read why an asset is blocked, then add a time-limited override so dispatch can use it anyway, release the override early, or recalculate readiness.
- Read an operational asset's page
Open one van, trailer, kit or tool and find its readiness, contents, documents, service, issues, custody and history on the tabs of its page.
- Read asset reports
See fleet-wide counts of blocked assets, overdue service, missing supplies, expiring documents and failed inspections, open each list in the registry, and export it.
- Record field work on an asset
From the technician screen, run an inspection checklist, report a problem, log service or a meter reading, upload proof, and sign a van or kit in or out.
- Review asset automation
Use the Asset Automation hub to see which automated follow-ups are running on your vans, trailers and kits, pause or stop one, and review what is waiting for approval.
- Scan an asset in the field
Look up a van, trailer or kit by its tag or barcode on the technician screen, see whether it is ready, and pick the inspection, issue, meter or evidence action you came to do, even offline.
- Set up operational assets
Use the Asset Setup admin page to manage asset profiles and classes in one place, connect a vehicle tracking provider, and re-run readiness processing by hand.
- Take an asset out of service or retire it
Pull a van, trailer or kit off the road while it is broken, put it back in service when it is fixed, or retire it for good.
