Set agreement branding, sender and reminders

Put your company name, colours and email sign-off on the agreements customers receive, choose the sender and reply-to address, and set how often Nova reminds people who have not signed.

In the sidebar, open Settings, then choose Agreement Settings under Agreements. The page address is /settings/org/agreements. This article covers the first two sections, Branding defaults and Delivery and reminder defaults.

Before you start

  • Your role needs permission to manage agreement settings. Without it the page does not open.
  • Branding needs to be included in your plan. If the Branding defaults section shows an Entitlement required badge instead of Editable, a note stands in for its fields.
  • Every section on this page saves with the one Save settings button at the top. Fill in what you need, then save once.

Steps

  1. Under Branding defaults, type your Brand name as customers should see it. Leave it blank to use your company name.
  2. Enter a Primary color and, optionally, an Accent color as hex codes such as #1f2937. The preview beside the fields updates as you type.
  3. Type an Email signature, the sign-off at the bottom of agreement emails.
  4. Under Delivery and reminder defaults, set the From name customers see on agreement emails and the Reply-to email where their replies land. Use a mailbox someone checks.
  5. Optionally choose a Default sender user, the team member named as sender when nobody else is chosen.
  6. Switch on Send automatic reminders if Nova should follow up on agreements still waiting for a signature or approval. A single agreement can still turn its own reminders on or off.
  7. Set First reminder lead time, Repeat every (days between reminders) and Maximum reminders (the most Nova sends for one agreement; 0 sends none). The first reminder goes out that many days after the agreement is sent, or that many days before its due or expiry date if that comes sooner. With 0 it goes out right after sending.
  8. Press Save settings.

What you see

  • The summary strip near the top shows Branding, Sender defaults and Reminder cadence, so you can confirm what is in effect without scrolling.
  • Every field has a small help icon that explains it in plain words.
  • Operational posture at the bottom repeats the current reminder cadence and when the settings were last saved.

If something looks different

  • Save settings is disabled: nothing has changed yet.
  • Save settings does nothing and red text appears under a field, possibly in another section: fix what it says; colours must be seven-character hex codes and the reply-to must be a valid email address.
  • A note replaces the branding fields and the badge reads Entitlement required: branding is not in your plan. The rest of the page still works.
  • You want to change who can sign or how: see Set how customers verify themselves and sign agreements.
