Save your branding as a shared preset

Turn the colours you have set up into a named preset the whole organization can reuse, start from one of Nova's presets, or copy, rename, update and delete presets.

In the sidebar, open Administration, then choose Branding under Company, and scroll to Preset Library. The page address is /settings/org/branding.

A preset is a saved set of top bar and sidebar colours. Nova Presets are built in; Shared Presets are the ones your organization saves.

Before you start

• Your admin has to give your role permission to write branding to apply a preset, and shared preset access to create, copy, rename or delete one. The Shared Presets card at the top of the page tells you what you can do.
• If the card says shared presets are disabled, your plan does not include saving your own presets. You can still apply a Nova preset.

Steps

To start from a preset:

1. Click anywhere on a preset card. The card shows Selected and the Live preview updates. Nothing is saved yet.
2. Adjust any colours you want to change (see Set your workspace colours).
3. Press Save changes at the top of Workspace Theme.

To save your current colours as a preset:

1. Press Save Current As Preset.
2. Type a Preset name and press Save preset. The preset appears under Shared Presets.

To copy, rename, update or delete a shared preset, use the buttons on its card:

• Copy asks for a new name; Create copy makes a second preset from the same starting point. Nova presets can be copied too.
• Rename opens Rename preset; type the new name and press Save name.
• Edit switches the editor into that preset. Change the colours, then press Update preset; Stop editing leaves the preset as it was.
• Delete removes the preset from the library once you confirm with Delete preset.

What you see

• The card whose colours match what is in the editor right now is marked Selected.
• The library shows the variant you are editing (Light variant or Dark variant); switch variants to compare the other look.
• Preset changes are recorded in the audit log.

If something looks different

• Save Current As Preset is missing: your role can view presets but not manage them, or shared presets are not in your plan.
• A preset card cannot be selected: your role cannot change branding. Ask your admin.
• The colours changed in the preview but your team still sees the old ones: selecting a preset only previews. Press Save changes.
