Nova Help

Answer a request for a review

What the "How did we do?" email or text after your visit is, where its link goes, and how to stop being asked.

Updated in release 0.0.1 Open this page in Nova

The day after the work on your visit is finished, the company can ask you to review it online. The email's subject is "How did we do?". The text starts "Hi" with your first name and thanks you for choosing the company. Both ask you to share your experience and name the review site, for example Google. You can share any feedback about your visit.

Steps

  1. If you are happy to, select the link in the message. It opens the company's page on the review site it named.
  2. Leave your rating and a few words there. The review site may ask you to sign in with its own account.
  3. If something went wrong, you can contact the company instead by replying to the message.

What you see

  • The link goes straight to the review site, not to Nova or the company's portal. What you write there is public, under the review site's own rules.
  • A company asks about the same work at most once in a set period, 90 days unless it chose another.

If something looks different

  • If you ignore the message, nothing happens.
  • The link opens a different review site from last time: some companies spread requests across several sites.
  • This is not the feedback form for a request you sent through the portal. That one asks you to rate the help from 1 to 5; see Rate the help you got.
  • To stop being asked, ask the company to stop review requests for you, or reply STOP to a text. See Stop emails or texts from a company.
