Create a lodging reservation

Book a guest into a room, cabin or site for a range of dates from the Schedule, let Nova pick a free room or choose one, and add guest and check-in details.

Open Schedule, press New, and choose Lodging reservation. A lodging reservation holds a room, cabin, site or other accommodation between check-in and check-out.

Before you start

Enable Lodging in Settings → Schedule → What do you schedule?. Your plan and role must allow lodging reservations. Set up an active lodging offering with date-range booking, bookable units and your check-in, check-out and stay-length policies.

Make the reservation

  1. Choose the customer, message recipient and lodging offering.
  2. Choose the Check-in date and Check-out date. Check the corresponding times in the lodging details.
  3. Let Nova choose an available room or unit, or choose a specific available unit.
  4. Add the guest count and any useful reservation details. Open optional sections only when needed.
  5. Review the dates, room and customer, then save.

Nova checks availability and lodging policies before it holds the room. Nights follow the property's local calendar, including clock changes. If your role allows an availability override, Nova asks for its reason and records it in the audit history.

Customer messages

Lodging messages use arrival and departure wording. Their timing and channels come from Settings → Customer messages → Lodging. Use the reservation's message controls for an exception. Turning lodging off for new work does not erase an existing reservation or stop its promised messages.
