Set a booking's date or time
Give a booking that is still waiting for a day or a confirmed start time its date or time from the Schedule or the Scheduling queue.
In the sidebar, open Operations, then Schedule. The page address is /schedule.
Before you start
Your admin has to give your role permission to read bookings. If Nova refuses to save the time, your role also needs permission to change bookings; ask your admin. A booking made online often arrives with a day but no time; that is what this page settles.
Steps
From the queue:
- Press Unscheduled. A booking with no date shows Set date; a booking with a date but no time shows Set time.
- For Set date: in Set booking date, pick the Date and press Set date. The calendar jumps to that day.
- For Set time: in Set booking time, check the Date, then pick a slot under Available times. If nothing suits, switch from Open slots to Manual and type a Start time and Duration. Press Set time.
From the calendar:
- Find the booking. A Time TBD chip means it has a date but no time yet.
- Press the chip. Set booking time opens, or Change booking time if the booking already had a time.
- Choose the time and press Set time or Save time.
What you see
The booking moves into its time slot on the calendar and the Time TBD chip goes away. If the new time overlaps something else for the same person or resource, Nova asks Override conflicts? and lists the top conflicts. Press Override and set time to keep it anyway (Nova may ask you for a short reason first), or Cancel to pick another time.
If something looks different
- Available times says there are no open slots for this date: nobody is free for that service that day. Pick another Date, or switch to Manual and set the time yourself.
- Duration cannot be changed: the service sets a fixed length, shown next to the field.
- Nova says it cannot open the scheduling editor for this booking: the booking is missing details. Open the booking itself from the queue and set the time there.
